Happy Memorial Day!

Out on the boat

I'm the king of the world...

Riley loves to say "cheeeese" these days.

We took a short swim in the river. It was COLD. Davis cried when we made him get back in the boat. Avery was really wanting to get in this year! Last year she was a little scared.

Davis is scoping out the Elk River scene.

Coleby loves the boat. The life jacket- not so much!

Cody is a cutie in his hat!

I'm a lovecat!

Tuesday nite, I had the awesome opportunity to attend Carole Foret's Marketing 101 workshop. It was very helpful and entertaining, and everyone was so nice.
One thing I love about living in a small town- by the time the nite was over, I figured out I already knew more than half the people there. (Or they knew me through my Dad, In-laws, etc...you know how it goes).
Carole was selected as Business Person of the Year here in town, so I knew she would have some great tips on Marketing our new business! I was not disappointed. Thanks Carole!

(And just in case you haven't been keeping up with the store blog
Things are happening! 10 more days till we open.

Davis and the Dandelion

After Nana saw this, she sent me this picture of Nick and a Dandelion. TOO cute.

End of School Luau

Tuesday, Avery's class celebrated their last day of school with a Luau at Kid's Dugout. They had a blast and it was fun to get to play with my kiddos for a while! Davis jumped right in with the "big" kids. I think he will love going to school next year! Avery has really enjoyed this year. I was a little worried when we moved because she l-o-v-e-d her class in Helena. But-Ms. Melanie and Ms. Aleicia welcomed her with open arms in November and she never missed a beat. We are looking forward to next year.

Frozen in time

Or cement...
MawMaw had some concrete poured for her new garage and we got all the kiddos to make their mark!

Ballet Pictures 2009

She looks so grown up. Makes me want to cry and No, I don't want to talk about it. She has a few more weeks left this year and her Recital is June 20.

My Mother's Day

Me & my sweet babies. I am so thankful to be Mommy to these beautiful, Healthy Children.

My gifts: flowers and a starbucks card. Nice! I especially thought the card was funny...it reminds me of my two.

Mother's day at MawMaw's

Mom with her three girls. We wanted a pic of her and the grandkids, but with 5 kids 3 and under, that wasn't happening.

The 3 best Mommies around!

Uncle Ben brought a new keyboard for the kiddos. Coleby & Cody just might have a career in music.

Davis still thinks he's a baby....I was holding Coleby and he pushed him away and said "OUT!"

Leigh made this yummy cake.

Notice no pictures of Avery & Riley. They are in their own little world these days. They run off to the magial makebelieve land of pretending and three year olds, and we only hear from them when its time to break up a fight.

Scenes from the car

It seems like we live in the car these days, so it was no surprise when I uploaded pictures two of the funniest were in the car!

Dad thought it was a good idea to get the kids an ORANGE push-up to eat on the way home from Mom's. In their church clothes. They loved it!

I have the classic boy and girl. Look what they wanted to take to Nana's. A barbie for Avery and a soccer ball for Davis.

Mother's Day with Nana

COmpeting for Nana's attention...this is the usual scene when we go over there.

Avery being a sweet big sister and sharing her cupcake.

Yeah for warm weather. Nana & Papa brought out their water feature...Davis is mesmerized by it.

Mommy/Daughter afternoon

I've been wanting to take Avery to get a pedicure for a long time. I figured she was finally old enough to sit still, and this would be a special Mother's Day Tradition to begin.

Smiling with Mommy- she was a little unsure of the "language" they were speaking.

Still a little leery of putting her feet in but after Mommy did it she was fine.

Isn't this so cute? She sat in a princess chair, got to watch a movie- fun fun. She was a little shy at first but soon talked their ears off. (ALthought I doubt the lady understood half of what she said.lol)

The finished products. Avery specifically asked for a flower on her toe. MawMaw had told her a while back they could do it, and we had even tried to paint one on Avery but she wouldn't be still. So cute!

She is quite proud of her toes. If you see her she will likely show you her " PEDI-CARE!"

What's in your bag?

Jenny posted this and I needed to clean out my purse too, so I thought I'd do it. If you are reading htis, you are tagged- Clean out your purse!!!

1. wallet
2. keys- which is suprising because I usually don't know where they are
3. 2 pens-one for checks (I like the way it writes) and one is pink for writing
specific stuff in my planner. I know Im a little anal about pens :)

forget anything these days. I have a planner on the IPhone, but I'm a list

in the rain toooo many times!
6. diapers
7. Application that I need to take to Carole Foret....I am going to a Marketing

8. Business Cards and Labels
9. Thirty-One catalog....I always have someone say they love my purse so I like
to have one handy to give them:)
10. 2 Lip glosses, lipstick and powder (although if you've seen my lately you'd swear I wasn't using any of them)
11. Brush
12. Germ-x- gotta keep that swine flu away. JK- I had this in my purse long before.
13. Camera- its not in the pic obviously
14. WISP- have you tried these? neat!
15. Davis's bib- He won't keep it on, I don't know why I even try.

Touche'

Well the ineveitable has happened. We were at Ruby Tuesday, having our usual after church meal, when a rather large man got in front of us. I watched Averys eyes get big and I knew it was coming.

"Look! He's Fat! Look at his Legs! Did you see him?"

Let me say that she was not saying it mean, or trying to make fun of him, just stating the facts. I walked away like I didn't know her and hoped they would think she was Nana's child.:) You're welcome.

So we had a talk about how you don't say things like that, it hurts people's feelings, etc.etc. Avery brought it up again tonite."Remember that Fat man we saw..."
I reminded her again that Fat people do not need to be told they are Fat. They know it, and if you tell them, it could hurt their feelings and make them cry.

She responded: Well, Davis doesnt cry. And He's Fat.
