Mom's Day Tat

Motherhood is....

* Never needing an alarm clock-
            but being awakened to hugs & kisses

*Loving someone so much it almost hurts

*Suffering through yet another 5 a.m. episode of WoW WoW Wubzy
            to enjoy snuggle time with a very active little boy

* Getting up a little early to cut sandwiches into dinosaurs, crowns, or the latest favorite
                and sneaking in a quiet cup of coffee

* Wondering what I did with all of my time pre-kids

*Always sporting the latest styles-
                 complete with snot, juice stains, & dirty handprints

*Giving up a clean house everyday
                   for lots of outside play...
and coming to grips with the fact laundry will NEVER be  done

* Finding myself repeating things my Mom said to me-
and realizing maybe I didnt know it all back then.

* Exchanging date nites for birthday parties, and
                    accepting the fact that my little girl has more of a social life than we do

* Begging for a Nite alone, getting it, then
            spending the rest of the evening missing the kids

*Learning to not sweat the small stuff
         but realizing things that hurt your babies hurt you even more!

* Always carrying enough "stuff" in your purse to survive nuclear warfare

* Praying to be a good Mommy everyday and thanking God for each day with your children.

Last Friday nite, I hosted a Girls Nite Out/Jewelry party at my house. We had SO much fin and I've already gotten my jewelry.  It is Gorgeous!!! If you missed this party, I will probably have another one in the Fall.  The stuff is so trendy & whimsical, and affordable. Thanks Andrea for a great party!
