making memories of us

Me & Mary Jo getting ready to go to the concert...

We met up with her sister Jen and some more friends...his tour bus just happened to be right outside our window.

Little did we know we would get THIS close to Keith!

Ahhhh, I will just let the pictures speak for themselves.
Did I mention that me & MJ touched him???

What an awesome weekend. Nick & I got a couple of days away...amd went to Nashville to visit MJ & Nate, which always equals a GREAT time. Saturday, the boys worked on a rock path and the girls went shopping for a bit. Later, we went out on the boat and that nite the girls headed downtown and the boys had a gumbo feast. The concert is one of the best I've been to. Sugarland was really great! I like them but they are spectacular live. I have not laughed or had that much fun in awhile. Thanks MJ~

Davis's First Day of School

Here come the judge, here come the judge...

My sweet little man. Papa Steve would have been so proud of what a big boy he was!

Not so sure about this backpack.....

Our surprise from his teacher. So cute!

My baby boy did GREAT on his first day. He has been attached to my hip and is a bit of a Mommy's boy, so I was a little nervous. But he walked right into class and didnt look back! A little different from Avery's first day!

Whenever I took Avery last year, he always wanted to stay, and this time he got to! He was super excited and his teacher said he had a blast. I am so proud of him and I am glad that I am right next door- just in case!

First day '09-10

As most everyone knows, I am helping with the 2 year olds at Lindsay Lane's MMO program. This means the kiddos go to "school" 4 days a week with me. We missed the first two days because we were on vacation, so our first day was Monday.

Here they are on our way out. Avery is doing the back to school dance, and Davis thinks school must be hilarious.

Looking like big kids with their BIG backpacks. This makes me cry- my babies are not babies anymore!

My, um, future linebacker.

Fun with Mommy

On the Boardwalk

Everyday, we packed up our caravan and took a little stroll down the boardwalk to the ocean. I think Davis got the better end of this deal, don't you?!?!

Little moments

I live for
little moments
like these...

Babies in Blue

Davis-Fun in the Sun!!!

Avery in action!

Mr. Sandman...

While Avery was building sandcastles, Davis was enjoying the sand too, as only an almost 2 year old boy can.
He jumped, slid, ran, rolled, threw, "wallered", and marched in the sand. All to his delight!!! Funny funny boy!

Fun with Daddy

Sandcastles....

One of Avery's top priorities this year was building a sandcastle. She did this everyday.

On this particular afternoon,we went in for a nap and came back to this:

Notice how Avery admires the handywork, and even pretends its hers for a quick picture.

She eventually got the hang of it and did a pretty good job!
