Christmas Pics

Jenny came today to take pictures of the kids for our Christmas cards. They had two "wardrobe changes," pj's and matching dressy outfits. I am only gonna post one because I don't want to ruin the Christmas card surprise, but they turned out great! Thanks Jenny for being patient with Avery who cannot be still for more than three seconds. As for Davis, I think he has a future in modeling. He was wonderful.

On the catwalk

Avery loves playing in my closet, especially with my shoes. She always goes for the high heels. She walks great in them too, which is impressive. I know adults who can't walk in heels this high!

Oh Christmas Tree...

SO I decorated the house while Mom had Avery, but I saved her special ornaments for tonite. She liked hanging them, but then she wanted to take them back off and play with them. Her favorite part was the Star!!! Nick helped her put it on top, but it fell off and he had to do it. She is very impressed with the Christmas Tree, she says "A's tree."

Thanksgiving 2008

We returned Sunday from an almost week in Athens. Thanksgiving was a wonderful three day celebration for us, and we loved it! Davis got to meet almost all of the extended family on both sides. We are so blessed to have such an awesome family and it was great to see everyone. We love you.
p.s. Many posts will follow- we celebrated 4 times!!!

6 in a row!!! (and First Iron Bowl for Davis!)

Nick had to come back to Birmingham Saturday to work, so me and the kids went to Leighs to watch the Iron Bowl. We were still the house divided here: Me and Aves pulled for the Tigers and Leigh and Davis rooted on the Tide. Leigh is about the only Bama fan I can stand to watch the Iron Bowl with. It was a great game but I am happy Auburn came out on top. WARRRRRRRRR Eagle!

Day Day time

Avery has been in Athens since Sat.nite, so its just been the three of us. Every time I talk to her on the phone, she says "Day Day bobble" "DayDay crying?" "Day Day sleep?" I guess she misses him. I am missing her too, but I have enjoyed my time with Davis. He "helped" me decorate for Christmas yesterday, I think he really likes Christmas music. I'm also thinking, How did I ever think one child was hard?!? I am loving his little coos and grunts. Although he is much bigger than Avery was, he is still just as snuggly. He knows his Mommy too and he loves for you to talk to him. I can't wait to get home so all the extended family can meet him.

Uh Oh...

Looks like we may have another blankie baby on our hands.... And yes, that is our bed. I'm such a sucker.

Happ Birthday Papa Junie!

Just had to post this...we met George at Habeneros last nite. He was here for a conference. We surprised him with a Happy Birthday song in Spanish.
