Football and a Fashion show

We went over to the Brambletts last nite to watch the game. As usual, the guys headed to the Garage and the girls hung out with the kids inside. Avery, Cam and Savannah decided to put on a little fashion show. They even dressed Davis in a pink Dora blanket. Avery had a ball- I've always said she would have been a great 2nd child because she LOVES older kids! She didnt want to leave, we had to promise her a slumber party when she's a little older!

Avery's masterpiece

This is what happens when you trust a 2 year old to finish her lunch alone. A beautiful yogurt creation. As you can see, she is quite proud of herself!

The Bumbo

When you have 2 kids 2 and under, it doesn't take much to excite our house. I got Davis a Bumbo and we've all had fun with it. I took his picture- as you can see he needs a little more time to master it. Then Avery said "I take picture with Mommy and Day-Day," so we all posed in our "jom joms" and let Avery try it out.

Moms Nite Out!

Last nite, I hosted MNO at our house. We had a Dirty Santa Regift Party. I got all good stuff from Santa, so I pulled out something I got from a student a few years ago. As you can see from the pics, there were some BAD gifts! We also had a friendly game of Family Feud & Nick even joined in. My team lost both times. Thanks for coming girls, I had a great time. And Misty, you "accidentally" left your Santa with a fish broach!

p.s. I don't know why my pic is bigger than everyone else. I copied them from Jenny, I am not trying to be vain!

"Uncle" Adj

Adam came down from NY this week to visit. Wednesday we all went out to eat with no kids! THANKS Audrey! Thursday, Adj & B came over to "play" & Adj got to meet Davis. Great to see you Adj! Can't wait till your a little closer!

Dancing with Papa

Over the holidays, we had one of those memorable events you will never forget. At the Rogers Christmas, we were watching the new Eagles live DVD. Avery and Papa danced to it and she was in heaven. I think Papa was too and it was a precious memory we all will cherish.

Gonna find out who's naughty or nice...

I wasa busy with Christmas last week and forgot to post this. Avery pulled Davis's hair, so I told her a firm NO Ma'am! and made her stand in the corner. After she served her time, I came in the kitchen and found her baby in the corner. Avery was telling her No Ma'am too!

A Call from Barbie

.

Avery got a special treat Sunday, Aunt Ivy arranged for "barbie" to call her. Actually, it was Ariel from the Little Mermaid, but Aves doesn't know specifics yet. Barbie wished her a happy 2nd birthday. Avery acted like it was no big deal, when she finished her spill, Avery goes "Bye Barbie!"and handed me the phone like she talked to her everyday!

Christmas morning

Avery and Davis were excited to see all the presents under the tree from Santa this morning. Mommy and Daddy have been putting it all together and putting batteries in everything all day. That is why I am taking a break to blog! I don't know how our parents did it with 3! We are really blessed beyond measure! Merry Christmas!

Baby's 1st Christmas!

Davis truly enjoyed his first Christmas. He had lots of cuddling and snuggling from all the family, not to mention lots of new fun toys. It won't be long till he is playing with it. We love you Day Day!

Christmas 2007...

was WONDERFUL!!! Avery, Davis and nick and I are so blessed to have such amazing families and I am glad we got to spend time with everyone. Here are a few pictures from all of our Christmas festivities. Thanks to all for all the fabulous gifts, and for the best gift of all, FAMILY. We love you!

Little Drummer Girl

Here is Avery on Jonathans drums at the Christmas party. Looks like she will take after Daddy...

Christmas with the Girls

Me, Lori & Nicole had our annual Christmas dinner at Casa last week. This year, even let the husbands tag along. It was great to catch up and let the boys (Davis and Evan) hang out too!

Gifts for Mommy and Daddy

Avery made us three special gifts this year. At school, she made a reindeer and Christmas tree with her handprin, and at Misty's Santa Shop, she made a Santa plate with her handprint. Davis made one too! These are very special gifts we will always treasure!

Avery's "Big"Brother

Going "home" last week for Christmas meant Avery got to spend lots of quality time with Riley. (Iley P). The are jsut like brother and sister. They L-O-V-E each other sometimes, and fight like cats and dogs at other times. You can see some of the fun they had with Maw-Maw: playing in the bath, cleaning, eating, dressing in their Sunday best, coloring, and playing in the toy bucket. Being only 2 months apart, they will always have a very special relationship and I hope Riley will always look out for her.
