SSHH!

Please someone tell me how to get Avery to be quiet in church. She isn't bad, rude, or loud, she just talks the whole time.
From Welcome to Amen.
And yes, she says Amen EVERYtime the congregation says it.
And after each song, she says "All Done."
And after each passage goes away on the screen, "Bye Bye Tv!"
And anytime a baby makes a noise "Somebody's crying Mommy!"

And random bouts of "Wheres my cheerios?" Wheres my juice?" "A's dress is so pretty!"
"Whats this Mommy?" or "Wheres my colors?"

Today she turned around to the 5 + year old and said "Sit DOwn. SHHHH!"

Just anything that pops in her head, she says!!! Today, Davis had a runny nose, so Nick stayed home with him. AVery announces loudly to the church. "Daddy not here. Daddy at home. Daddy not come to church. Daddy not go church."

And on And on And on.

I'm sure the little old lady beside me thought, that poor girl, her husband won't go with her to church....

Good luck with that. I wish I had a magic answer, but Brody has only recently begun to reduce the amount of verbage that freely flows during worship. Not eliminate, mind you. Wonder where he got that trait? Keeping snacks handy helps, but still...
Tonight we were at church with John and Sandra, and a missionary was showing pictures of people getting baptized. Brody said, "He pushed her down in the bathtub!"

Don't feel too bad. Tonight Matthew was getting a little fussy toward the end of services so I took him to the nursery. I wouldn't let him get down and roam around so he pitched one major fit. Todd said he could hear him in the auditorium. Made me feel like mom of the year. :)
